"Winning here was exciting, but my focus now shifts to defending my continental title in August," said the determined young rider, who showcased remarkable skill by overtaking even the day's third-fastest competitors.
The event marked the first round of the 20th Central Africa Motocross Challenge, attracting 78 riders from Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda. Notably absent were Kenyan participants due to internal federation disputes. This annual championship rotates among East African nations, with Uganda and Kenya traditionally being key hosts for the growing sport.
Birungi's flawless performance reinforces her status as one of Africa's most promising motocross talents, with her sights firmly set on maintaining her winning streak in upcoming regional competitions.
