Revellers anxiously waited for singer Mesach Semakula to appear on stage for his Mesach at 46 show at Tavern Woods, Kabuusu in Kampala on October 20, 2023.

The show is part of his tours following his Mesach at 46 concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel in May.

At around 7:00pm, the gates of the venue were open, and by 8:00pm, the parking yard was full.

Mesach was accompanied by fellow artistes, including Haruna Mubiru, ‘Kibigiri’ and Maureen Nantume, but he sang much later.

First, Kibigiri performed Kadongo Kamu music that excited revellers, particularly the old man dance and the dressing.

People were seen laughing their heads off as Kibigiri performed Phina with one of the entertainers who was dressed in a school uniform. The song tackles abuse of the rights of the girl-child right by old men. The girl proceeds to call Kibigiri swine, which prompts him to jump off the stage and chase her to the car they came driving, much to thunderous laughter from the fans.

Afterwards, Nantume performed her love songs, including Kenfunye Gwe.

At around 2:00am, Mesach wrapped up the event with his performance. His music could not quench the thirst of the revellers to the extent that they kept asking for a replay of some specific songs such as Kabirinage, Abakazi Abaguma and Nkulinako Love.
