The residents of Nkozi in Buwama, Mpigi district on Saturday, May 28 came together to celebrate the Colour Festival at the Nkozi Grounds.

The festival, in its second edition in Nkozi, is akin to the Indian Holi Festival, where people splash themselves with coloured water. 

At around 5:00pm, revellers stormed the venue to be part of the exciting event.

A colour shower had already been set up.

Dressed in white attire, no one was spared from the splashes of the colours. Not even artistes survived.

The event peaked at night as several artistes such as Rickman, Zex Bilangilangi and Quex performed.

The colourful event was proudly sponsored by XFM.
