Former Wakiso Giants midfielder Ibrahim Kasule now has a seat the table of Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls.
Kasule earned the promotion after New York Red Bulls signed him from the New York Red Bulls II on a short-term contract.
He is going to be part of the team's MLS regular season and this follows his eye-catching performances having managed to score six times in seven outings.
The 19-year-old will don the no. 31 shirt.
Kasule was sensational in New York Red Bulls II’s 3-1 win over Cincinnati at MSU Soccer Park, scoring his side’s second goal and assisting.
And his promotion is a fair reflection of his outstanding displays with barely four months spent with the New York Red Bulls II side.
His coach Ibrahim Sekagya who spotted him alongside Frank Ssebufu from the Uganda Premier League must be one of the happiest men on the planet today.
