Leave me alone, Bruno K begs older women

Singer Bruno K, real name Bruno Kiggundu, has expressed regret about the times he wasted with older women and love wars.

He swore to never be involved in love battles with sugar mummies. The singer said their intention has always been to spoil his name and destroy his career.  He went on and begged the women who are interested in him to leave him alone.

He said he has decided to work hard and take good care of his children. 

"Most of these ladies approach me by themselves. They will face a lot of challenges because nowadays I am different. I was angered by their behaviour and harassment since they led me to mistakes and they come for the wrong reasons," Bruno K said during an interview on Vibe Mix, a Bukedde TV show on Wednesday, May 22. 

He lamented that the women's sides of the story have made the public believe that he has many children.

The 31-year-old said he only has three children and he is not a womaniser. In the interview, Bruno said he loves one woman at a time.

“It's two women who came out and talked about me in public. It's only when the news made rounds that people started assuming that I have a lot of women. Those who know me well know that I am not a womaniser. I do not have many women. I am the kind of man who loves a woman right once I fall in love with her. That’s why I am always careful with who I love," he said.

He lamented about the challenges they face as male celebrities.

"I sometimes think I am dealing with people who are on the same page with me yet not. You always hear my voice notes, and see my pictures and videos on social media and it's not me who shares them. I do not know why these people (his love interests) go and do such things. Maybe their aim is to kill my career, which cannot be possible since it's God who gifted me with the talent. God gave me the voice and gave me favour before people. Peeople love me," Bruno said.

In September 24, 2023, businesswoman Mariam Ssembatya alias Dorah and Bruno K threatened legal action against each other over breach of privacy rights.

Dorah accused Bruno K of making her pregnant and dumping her for other women. She further bashed him, saying he does not shave his pubic area and is smelly. On the other hand, Bruno threatened to release his version of the story in a series of social media posts.

Bruno said after the women fail to adhere to his conditions and terms, they come out and complain publicly in a bid to bring him down. 

He said he has never wanted to disclose his private life on social media where he has been always judged wrongly.

Bruno said these women come to his life while promising him the world. 

“These women want to use me and lead me to mistakes. I dislike disclosing my private life on socials. I do not like women who take my pictures while I am in bed because I cannot tell their intentions and I have an image to protect. I cannot be sure what they want to use my pictures for with once we are done. I do not stop them from recording me, but I am always fearful of their intentions. You cannot wake up and start filming me when I do not want to be filmed, but when I am with people that I love, I am always free with them and we can take pictures together because I trust them. They cannot hurt me as sugar mummies do. There are three people that I have ever loved and they have never come out in the news to talk about me. They always show concern and reach out to me whenever they hear these such negative stories trending," Bruno K said.

"I do not like women’s drama anymore. They accuse me of not loving kids, which is not true. I do not want them to use my kids to torment me. Having my kid does not mean that you become a problem to me and take my peace away. I always tell the mothers of my kids to discuss with me only the issues concerning the kids, but they want to bring in other irrelevant stories. They cannot respect themselves as adults and we co-parent in peace since I am not their man. We are not dating. We are just co-parenting. I do not expect demands made by people who are romantically linked to each other to surface between me and my baby mamas. I grew up seeing domestic violence between my parents everyday, which tortured my mind and affected me as a child.  I always told myself that I would never be violent to any woman in my life and the moment, I sense violence, we separate," Bruno K said.

He said one of the women had the audacity of insulting his mother on camera.

"Imagine how it would be when we were alone in the house. Guess what she can do to me. I urge people never to quickly judge. They should use some understanding," Bruno said.

Bruno K acknowledged some women are persistent on making advances on him. If he refuses to yield, they threaten him, while others put up a lot of an avoidable offers.

“These women get so frustrated in their marriages that they start coming to us for comfort. They always come with a lot of money and other luxurious assets to seduce me. Since I also want money, I  do not refuse, but it does not mean that I have love for them. My intention is to get money and property from them since it is what they come up with in the deal. They are often jealous and do not want any other woman near me by stopping me from doing music. They put a lot of restrictions on me. They later release my private information on social media, intending to fail me. I want to inform them that that trick does not work anymore. It has failed. They should look for another one. They go and tell journalists that I am poor in bed. Why then do they go on to fight for me if I have no manpower? I am a healthy nice looking young man who is energetic and strong with manpower that cannot be diminished. I want to inform  women that  sex is from the mind. It depends on how I love you. If I do not feel you, how do you expect me to make good love with you? I always do not feel the older women because I am attracted by their money instead of love. However, I am done with sugar mummies. I have suffered enough and I will never do it again. To all women out there who are interested in me, I request you to leave me alone. Please, I beg you," Bruno pleaded.

Bruno also touched on the issue of media personality Faridah Nakazibwe who he has been severally accused of dating. She is a foster parent of Bruno's daughter, Briella, whose biological mother passed away. Bruno has been romantically linked to Faridah, who recently gave birth. He, has, however, clarified that he has never been in love with mother-of-three Faridah. 

“We are just good friends and business partners. I manage her social media handles. Faridah has a man who she is yet to disclose and he is the father of her baby. I appreciate her for being a real good friend who always stood with me in challenging situations. She has connected me to many businesses, which has changed my life today. She went on to take good care of my kid as a friend," Bruno said.

He stated that he met Faridah on a WhatsApp group and they started communicating.

"Her niceness and beauty made me to compose a song about her which she liked so much. It kickstarted our friendship, which has kept growing. She connected me to perform at many weddings in her family and among her friends which made for me a lot of money. She is kind and caring. She has always advised me on how to go about challenges whenever I am stressed," Bruno said .
